Impressive ride on the train. The train itself is amazing and the engineering behind the whole thing is a wonder. It's so steep that it almost feels like a lift but smoother and the views are incredible!

They just replaced the old train with a new one. It is the steepest funicular railway in the world. Definitely worth a visit. You should buy a day pass, that allows you to travel from one peak to the other. Great for a family outing.

I recently visited latest Stoosbahn and was really impressed by the engineering achievement. Something the Swiss can be really proud of. Worth visiting even if you don't intend to go up the next leg to the top of the mountains.

This new mountain railway is an amazing feat of engineering. So steep that the cabins on the track are self adjusting to keep the customers vertical. Remarkable. Whilst in the old days waiting was normal, now you arrive in the new booking hall, pay for...More

Please update your files. The photo is obsolete! Since December 17, 2017 the new Stoos Bahn is in service. Spectacular world steepest funicular, was in the international press as far as China!
