This is a very nice bay area of the huge lake and, in good weather, a nice area to wander around and take in the magnificent views. You can arrange for a trip on a boat/yatch.

Over an hour train ride from Zurich to Lucerne. The bay is very beautiful, the town, the wooden bridges... It is a great place for a relax day, strolling around. Be prepared for the horde of asian tourists!
