Old towns in Europe are always the hub of the city and where all the tourists flock for good reason. Lucerne has a lovely old town very walkable with lots of nooks and cranies - you can easily spend a full day exploring.

This town is stupendously beautiful - the bridge, the river, the mountains surrounding it, the glass-like lake, everything, really. I loved the Old Town in Lucerne and highly, highly recommend visiting!

Old town is beautiful to walk around and it is hard to see everything with so many historic buildings and side streets. Lots of nice restaurants, as well!
