Incredibly well-preserved cannons and the mosaic artwork on the walls was eye-opening to the history of Geneva!

Ancient cannons in a typical antic swiss area, Cathedral Saint-Pierre nearby, Maison Tavel and Hotel de Ville to see nearby too. It's impossible to visit Geneva without going there anyway.

The canons and the background pictures, the first representing Julius Caesar and the Helvetians, are splendid. This is a nice place to visit if you are in Geneva.

We came across these canons as we wandered around Geneva. The canons are very well preserved and the frescos on the wall are also very interesting.

On a street corner in the Old town, this amazing cobbled, covered area has big guns and brilliants murals detailing a little bit of history.

This is just an outdoor's stop when you are in the neighborhood of St.Pierre and Maison Tavel, not worth a hike up the hill by itself but a must if you are around, especially with kids because it will capture the imagination.

I always bring tourists here as the kids love climbing on the canons. it's next to the Hotel de ville and near the cathedral so it is photographed by all the tourists! nice mosaic mural and sheltered from the wind and rain!

Coming up the 'grande rue' and you see the cannons you know you have arrived at the center of Geneva, 200m on along the street with the city hall and the ministries of the canton and republic of Geneva is the Bourg de Four, the...More

Literally walked past this, looked up what it was in a book and found out it is an attraction. Although interesting, I wouldn't say it's a must see. If you are wandering the old town, you will come across it.
