I hopped on the ferry to go across the Rhine river today. I didn't have to wait for it. It wasn't busy. This activity was perfect for a leisure afternoon stroll through the city. It was quick. It was over before I knew it.

We took advantage of the discount card that we got at our excellent Hotel Spalentor while on an excellent Tours by Locals tour with Cynthia to cross the river on this nifty ferry. A fun experience.

We had a free ticket from our hotel but even without it's not expensive, it was a nice little relax across the river.

Must do in Basel, great value for money and a really unique experience. Ride across the Rhine with no noisy engines or fumes.
