Was unaware of the depth and breadth of the early modern art collection until I stumbled upon it. Go to the top floor and work your way down and you won’t be disappointed. Well worth the admission.

Not a huge fan of art but even for me there was more than few paintings worth attention. The prices are not that cheap but you will see painting of world known painters.

Want to stress it: the museum is not free even if you have Swill Rail Pass. This is one of few museums in Switzerland that are not included in the list of free museums with Swiss Rail Pass
