OK, so it's a paper mill. Boring right? WRONG! As several have pointed out, it ended up being a lot more fun than you could imagine. Four-year-old liked the hands-on activities and adults were stimulated by the cool exhibits. The name doesn't do it justice....More

We had the opportunity to be guided by Carlos, who was a fantastic and informative guide. The museum is kind of a hands-on tour, and the history about the first paper sheets produced was fascinating. Muito obrigada, Carlos!

I learned a lot by touring this museum. I understand why it is highly recommended. There are good English explanations for the artifacts on display. The demonstrations were good.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our visit here. Following the history of paper. From how it was made hundreds of years ago (using the equipment from Hundreds of years ago) to the history of writing, language, ink & printing. We printed our own paper,...More

Visited with my partner and we both really enjoyed it. If you have a Basel card from your hotel you can get half price entry, but I think it’d be worth it at full price too. There’s 4 small floors and on each floor you...More
