This is the most unusual Rathouse I've seen in all my travels! The extreme decorative nature, wild red color, gorgeous paintings on the walls, and statues and fountains were stunning and unforgettable! We didn't go on the tour, but just walking around and looking at...More

The Rathaus seems to best represent this wonderful city. I loved every corner of Basel. The architecture of the Rathaus is fascinating and unlike any other place I have seen. The Rathaus will not take long to visit but leave plenty of time for Basel.

The building has some English signage and an English leaflet was available. Beautiful old artwork and statues, very well maintained. Well worth 15 minutes of our time

Not something I'd classify as a tourist destination, but, we saw it while passing by on our way to somewhere else, and it merited 2 minutes' worth of looking.

This is a rather special structure with red gothic constructions and stands out in the city center.inside is also good but due to too many flights of stairs, i didnt venture deep.

This is the government building or city hall. It is right in the city center. It is very colorful with multiple colors. It is hard to miss whenever you go to the city center.
