You have to walk through a bit of an industrial area to get to it but I thought it was ok. I have a noisey disposition. Also if you get there early you get to watch the barges arrive and depart.

A landmark that needs improvement! We stopped there from a hop on hop off bus. It needs a better presentation and new signage.

Impressive spot where the 3 countries of Switzerland, Germany and France come together. Surprisingly there are not many tourists and you can see the ongoing activities of passenger and cargo ships cruising the Rhine. It’s well presented but not enough in English language!

This is a very neat spot showing the boundary of Switzerland, France and Germany. The problem is that it is difficult to get to and it isn't well marked. You either walk along a small path or through the recycling area. Also, it isn't much...More

Very beautiful and serene place to spend some time on a lazy afternoon. Sitting ideally for long and watching activities happening on the other side of the border is fascinating, especially for people of Asian (Indian) origin. For us, borders are always fascinating to watch...More

Situated among industrial zone , this is an unique symbol of friendship between three Neibhour’s Germany, France & Switzerland. You can enjoy a long walk along the River with boats decked.

No hop on hop off in Basil so we did the 2hr tour booked from the Information centre. The bus stopped here for 10 minutes enough time to take a few photos.

It‘s a nice spot where Switzerland / France / Germany meet. Short tram ride from city centre then a 10 min. walk.

This is an industrial area but out in the middle of the river is where France, Switzerland, and Germany meet. We walked from where the boat for our river cruise was docked. It was a nice river walk with other boats parked and the rocket...More

We were there in June this year. There is indeed a footpath which is right next to the boats. However, I’d just like to add that it’s not a very pleasant walk either way. Hope this helps :)
