This is a pleasant oval piazza near the town hall, surrounded by restaurants. The amazing thing is that they race horses here a couple times a year when the whole city comes together.

In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful, interesting piazzas in Italy. You come off the side streets and enter this huge, historic space, lined with cafes, and the site of the famous Siena Palio horse races, held twice a year. Highlight for...More

Coming down one of the side streets that open on to il campo is just absolutey WOW ! Amazing. We were lucky to find a coffee and gelato cafe that had a balcony overlooking the square where we could sit and observe - really beautiful.

It is a really beautiful piazza, very grand and slopes up round the edges. Lots of people sit around eating paninis and lunch. Our son enjoyed running round after all the pigeons. It is always busy and full of tourists but still stunning.

Gorgeous, even on a rainy day in May. We just loved this beautiful, medieval square. It's so interesting to compare it to Renaissance Florence.

It is a beautiful historical town square, surrounded by old, stunning buildings. It is a total time travel, worth to check it out. Gyönyörű történelmi főtere a városnak, szép régi épületekkel körülvéve. Tiszta időutazás, megéri megnézni!

Hi, we had a rented vehicle while in Tuscany as it was easier to get around so I honestly don't know. I'm sorry!
