Love this little town my wife and I went to cafe Nanni for fruit and strawberry Mojitos which were fantastic for Apertitivos which is when you get a drink with a snack before dinner, wish we had that in the states.

My wife and Sopped by Piombino on our back to Rome. Beautiful quiet town and some of the best Gelato I had in Italy.

A great piazza which extends into the sea with views of Elba Island and the backdrop of the town, very romantic.

Piazza Bovio is really unique. Try to go there in a windy (especially if the libeccio is blowing) day and you will never forget it.

Piazza Bovio is the place to be after a walk in Piombino. You have a great view over the sea to Elba but without clouds you can even see Corsica. It is a nice place to stay a moment.
