This piazza was a extremely active. Vendors selling fruits and vegetables reminded us of local farmers markets back in the states. very small but a great gathering place.

It is not on the main tourist line, therefor much more quite than other squares in Lucca. The 12.th century church is a ssmall gem. If you are already tired, there is some cafés and restaurants around.

Beautiful 12th century church in the heart of the old city, along the via filungo. Great place for a rest stop and photo opportunity.
