This long street runs, in a general north/south direction, from Piazza della Liberta, past Piazza San Marco, Leonardo Museum and ends just one block from Piazza del Duomo at Palazzo Medici Riccardi.

Yes, this was a nice walk and definitely much quieter but it certainly doesn’t have the same kind of attractions as Centro Storico. However, you do need some quiet time after visiting these areas so I would recommend coming here after the busy piazzas.

This is one of the busiest places in Florence, but the walk along it is really pleasant. It's worth because you say hello to people from all over the world and you take so many photos of the beautiful buildings around.
