Pegna is full of delightful sweets, delicious deli, perfumes, and everyday items too. It is a lovely shop close to the duomo. You will find many items that can be unique souvenirs.

Loved staying in an AirBnB in Florence so we did not have to eat out every meal - but still not psyched to actually cook. Pegna was a great solution - recommended at the wonderful Paperback Exchange down the block. We got some salad items...More

This is a Wonderful Food Store, within a 2 blocks walk of the Duomo, in Florence. Discovered it about 25 years ago, and SO GLAD I FOUND IT. Go to the ''South Long Side of the Duomo'', Turn Right on 3rd narrow road past the...More

This is an interesting store. At first glance, I thought it was a pharmacy. Inside there is a bit of everything - wine, food, baby products, deli, it is hard to pigeon hole. It is a nicely displayed shop but the prices are a bit...More

This food shop doesn't look much from the outside, but once inside the place opens up to a treasure trove of Italian ingredients. We bought olive oils, balsamic vinagars & some different kinds of dried pasta to take home. I wish I was self catering...More

Does not look like a food/wine store from the outside but they carry vast quantities of excellent sausages, cheeses, crackers, wine etc., everything you'd need for a fantastic picnic or dinner.

If you look at the shop windows, you will see that they sell far more interesting products than drugs. They have a vast choice of specialties and wines from many different regions of Italy. This shop is not especially made for tourists but for all...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
