A place to visit especially with the Christmas Market. Plenty of shops surrounds piazza. Old Florence leather factory has plenty of leather product selection where I bought multiple leather goods with regrets. I saw beautiful jackets and bags elsewhere. Too bad I cannot return items...More

This is a lovely square right in front of the Basilica of Santa Croce. You can find the statue of Dante Alighieri here and also some nice palaces like Palazzo Cocchi-Serristori, the beautiful Palazzo dell'Antella. It also houses a Christmas market and the Florence Marathon...More

It is the piazza facing the Basilica of Santa Croce. There are lots of shops and cafes surrounding the piazza. Also lots of public benches. Good place to do people-watching.

This spacious square is unique because there are benches along the sides for folks to sit on. It was nice to just sit and soak up the atmosphere, to gather one's thoughts and belongings. The church in front of the square offers a wonderfully sight.

I absolutely loved this piazza! A hub of activity without being completely overcrowded. A perfect spot to rest your feet, enjoy a gelato and watch the world go by

Yes. There's a Taxi stand just in front of the square. But it's only a five to seven minute walk.
