Amazing. Tip: no need to buy a ticket in advance. The line was very short (surprisingly) and you get in right away. Also, don’t get the audio guide; it provided basic info and was dissapointing. 6 euros wasted.

We were perhaps Medici'd out by the time we visited this chapel. However, the upstairs chapel is certainly worth a visit.

Outside the chapel is not impressive at all, but inside it leaves an unforgettable impression. A stunning place especially for everyone who loves the art of Michelangelo. Perhaps it is the most beautiful chapel in Florence, and in all of Italy. Very nice and there...More

A great place to learn more about the Medici family. Restoration was taking place while we were there; it was intriguing to watch the artists work on that.

Part of the Cappelle is under construction but it doesn’t matter, the rest is just beautiful. The tombs of the Medici family (Cosimo etc) were grandios. A delightful small part of the Basilica San Lorenzo

The sculptural works in the smaller room next to the chapel of the Medici family mausoleum were exquisitely beautiful. These works by Michelangelo exhibited his supreme artistry and craftsmanship. We were completely awed by these masterpieces and gained a new appreciation towards him.
