I used to shop for clothes here, but now all the new stuff comes from China.... Although designed for the Italian market, I just don't like buying Chinese goods. There are some good fabric vendors and I buy especially the sewing notions, ribbons, trims, buttons....More

The Mercato delle Cascine is a market that is worth visiting. It has a lot of stalls with all sorts of goods for sale. Frequented by the locals, this is a great place to spend a few hours

If you're looking to get some housewares or some inexpensive duds or just have a morning doing what the locals have been doing for years, take a ride to the Cascine market. Definitely some decent bargains and good people watching.
