We did the reservation via the website of the palazzo vecchio. They only had 2 spot at 8:00 am. They admit about 12 people or less, so we booked. Honestly, its one of the best our we've taken, and all thanks to our guide Giacomo....More

We directly booked a tour for palazzo vecchio which was called "Secret Passages" (available in Italian and English). You need to purchase a museum ticket additionally anyway, so you should definitely combine a tour and the museum visit right away. Then you only pay 4€...More

The iconic fountain was under construction during the visit, but seeing where David used to stand was interesting. Tons of interesting (and free) sculptures line the plaza.
