I'm glad we bought our tickets on line well before we left. Even with advance tickets, we had to wait a while in line. We enjoyed just the right amount of assistance with the Rick Steves audio guide. It brings the artwork to life. This...More

This was a great visit and somewhat overwhelming. It was busy but manageable and took over 3 hours as it is vast and there is so much to see.

Very huge and full of lovely paintings which you will admire. We could not finish it all in one day , but most of it. Try to avoid the long boring queues by booking your tickets inline

We bought tickets online to skip the que, but it took us almost an hour to get in because almost everybody has prebooked tickets. The collection was a bit boring, but after 10 days of Tuscany we were a bit tired of the Renaissance art.

The gallery has an impressive collection of some of the world’s most beautiful works, however the facilities in the museum are definitely sub-par and there is little to no commentary on most works. Tickets are very expensive (relative to other museums of a higher caliber)...More
