On our week stay in the area, we visited this Square everyday. It so charming and the views are simply breathtaking. We didn't bore of it easily and visited in the daytime and evening. It has a different atmosphere as the day goes on.

Photos of the square without people are quite misleading. While this is a lovely spot, and, yes, scenic, the density of tourists and the throng of people moving around you made it rather difficult to enjoy. You will probably go through here on your travels...More

Taormina is breathtaking and easy to fall in love with. Just strolling around its streets gives you such a nice feeling. This square offers lovely views and cannot be missed.

Having visited with friends this square became the meeting point and focal point for all to meet and enjoy during the day and night. Stunning views by day and entertainment at night whilst enjoying a drink and good food. Worth a visit if in Taormina

We came here lots of times. It’s a wonderful place to sit and relax as a break from roaming around the little shopping streets . We enjoyed our time here have a coffee and best of all is the great view of Mt Etna.

When overcrowded, the main street can be very tiring, so at the moment when you get to this square and have some space, it really feels good.

Hi I am not sure about your fitness levels or other matters but when in doubt catch a taxi rather than risk some event which could interfere with your holiday such as a stumble and hurt a toe etc
