This is one of a number of the quieter streets which lead off the main tourist routes and offer a haven of calm, as well as views of lovely gardens behind closed gates, discreet art galleries and smaller restaurants

Taormina is quite unique because of numerous little side streets leading from Corso Umberto, but this one is definately in the top 5 because of nice artworks displayed.

A nice little alleyway with drawings and paintings on the ground and some restaurants that keep it lively. A corner of Taormina that is worth a look.

This small gallery was a highlight of our Taromna visit. Bought a very well executed palette knife canvas for quite reasonable price. Also got a small , romantic "loving couple" work by their daughter. The painted roof tiles were also nice, but too heavy as...More
