I saw the signs for this beautiful park which takes you through the narrow streets of Taormina. On arrival I was knocked out by the gardens and the views. Numerous statues in the park but just kept going back to the views.

Took a nice leisurely stroll through the park, plenty of shade trees and benches to relax and read. Beautiful vantage points for some lovely pictures of the sea and surrounding bay.

Beautiful and peaceful gardens with some sculptures and buildings that look like something from a fantasy film. Also a war memorial with a field gun and two man open submarine. This is well worth a walk around and is right next to Hotel Villa Diodora.

This is a lovely garden away from the bustle of the Greco-Roman theatre & streets of Taormina. There were on.y a few people there when we visited. Good views too. The garden could do with being better taken care of though.

Worth a quick visit. Lovely to walk around, take in the views and it features a nice little architectural building which somehow reminded me of Mowgli and the Jungle Book :)

This wonderful park was next to our hotel and overlooks the Ionian Sea. It is beautifully landscaped and very peaceful and relaxing. It is a great place to unwind.

You can get away from the densely touristic areas and relax in this peaceful garden. The views are amazing.

If you have never seen a commando style two man submarine then a walk in the park provides the opportunity. A short walk away from the main part of town the park is a wonderfully peaceful place with glorious views and a number of war...More

I agree with all other posts. It your mum can manage the walk to the gardens and back then I am sure she will really enjoy these lovely gardens. Plenty of shade, plenty of seats. Really hope you get to see them
