Overview
More
Hermes Sicily is a team of tour guides and nature guides, based in Syracuse but which arrange excursions in south-eastern Sicily. It's possible to book a certified guide for a private walking tour or, during the summer months, it's also possible to join shared group tours on scheduled days. Hermes Sicily organizes also day trips by bus to the most important attraction in eastern Sicily and private transfer services. It's possible to book by mail or phone but we have also an infodesk and tourist infopoint in Ortygia, the old town center of Syracuse, where it's possible to ask for further information about our activities.

We had a walking tout of Siracusa with Eva. She is intelligent and her English is great. My spouse walks with a cane. Eva was very considerate of his comfort during the tour.

We booked the free tour. We waited at the appointed place, which was Hermes office, close to the Apollo temple, and as a small group (approx 10 people) we had a 2 hour tour around Ortygia. The guide was knowledgeable and informative and was able...More

I was stuck when looking for tours from Taormina to Siracusa as all the organised tours sounded ruched and had to wake up at the crack of dawn. I then came across Hermes who are actually based in Siracusa itself. I asked if it was...More

I booked a private tour with Hermes. Whilst you can have a free tour with this company, it is so much better to have a personal tour. It was just the three of us and our guide, Eva, was terrific. She was very knowledgeable -...More

excellent tour guide Enrica guided our family of 4 (kids age 9 and 11) through Ortygia in 90minutes. provided historical and artistic details that would not be apparent without a guide. She met us promptly.
