These are the ruins of a small Roman theatre, which are quite overgrown, and which you can't get near. Not a disaster if you were to miss this one. There are plenty of others!

When the Romans took over after the Greeks they build this Roman theater, a couple of hundreds meter from the Greek Theater.

This Roman ruin is part of a vast collection of ruins to walk around and enjoy. The ampitheatre is not as well preserved as the Greek theatre on site but is still impressive and fascinating to see.

The Roman theatre unlike the Greek theatre can only be seen from a walk way above, the Greek theatre you can walk amongst the stones. The Roman theatre has a lot of vegetation growing on it but you can clearly make out the component parts....More

Can walk or bus to this area. Plenty of historic places around and this is one of them. More suitable to adults than young children

Why why can't the authorities do a bit of clean up so you can actually see what is left of the ruins. Really? If it wasn't in the ticket we wouldn't have bothered and we have seen roman ruins in mainland Italy and Croatia that...More

The remains of the Roman forum are part of the complex that includes the Greek theatre and Dionysios' ear etc. The remains are significant and well worth seeing. After finishing the sights a gelato or a granita is a must as it is quite hot.

One can almost hear the roar of the crowd at the ampitheatre as gladiators fight and the spectators bay for blood. Amazingly still in good condition. A lot of walking so wear sensible shoes and take some water and a hat. Dont forget your camera.

You can walk half of the way round the circumference of this structure. It would be good if someone could cut or weed kill the grass as it obscures a large part of the central area. It was obviously possible to visit far more of...More
