Most Mt. Etna excursions stop at the Silvestri Craters on the lava-covered slopes, but with this exclusive tour you can reach the top of Europe’s highest active volcano with a volcanologist guide. Take a cable car and off-road vehicle to Torre del Filosofo and then continue on foot about a mile (2 kilometers) to the summit craters. Learn about the volcano’s history from your guide and enjoy sweeping views over the coastline.

We had a lovely holiday on the Marella Explorer. The staff were so helpful & could not do enough for you, I left my glasses on the plane & reception bent over backwards to try to find them for me. Anjo our cabin steward was very good & made animals out of towels for our entertainment, in the evenings our room was tidied & fresh towels were provided this was after our room was done during the day, he & his team were organised. The cabin was specious enough with plenty of cupboards & draws & it was nice having a window. There was plenty of restaurants to choose from but the Market Place was very good with plenty of choice every day. Enjoyed the musicals in the theatre as they were well performed. Our thanks to Captain Peter Harris & his team for a special holiday

We had a lovely time on the actual cruise in May but having been back for nigh on 5 months we have just received an email from Marella stating that the card we had paid our account on had not had the money taken out due to an error on their part! They have stayed that on 28th Sept they will approach our bank for the money!!! They also say to make sure there is enough money in the account to pay the bill .. around £200!!! They also say that there is no discussion on alternative payments I e staged payments etc... just that they will take it from our account on the 28th Sept! I am disgusted by this as you can imagine as I had believed the bill was taken care of in May/June as our statement of account from the ship stated!! I now have to find £200 this far along in the year when I have other commitments!!! We have been a good customer of Tui/Marrella Cruises for a long time but due to the administration and attitude of this company from now on I will only look at cruises from other companies!! We are so disappointed and urge other customers of Tui /Marbella to check check and check again when they tell you something... because five months later they may come along and say something different! A very dissatisfied and upset customer!!!!
