Most Mt. Etna excursions stop at the Silvestri Craters on the lava-covered slopes, but with this exclusive tour you can reach the top of Europe’s highest active volcano with a volcanologist guide. Take a cable car and off-road vehicle to Torre del Filosofo and then continue on foot about a mile (2 kilometers) to the summit craters. Learn about the volcano’s history from your guide and enjoy sweeping views over the coastline.

We've enjoyed the atmosphere a lot, tea varieties as well! Interior design and wonderful taste of tea are just perfect! It's a very tranquil and cosy place to visit! Thank you, Roberto! Maria from Russia.

Whilst traveling in Italy from Australia we visited Catania for a couple of days. The history is amazing as it is in all of Italy. For an Australian Naturopath / Herbalist this tea room / museum was incredible. To see the history of herbal medicine from the local area and have a cup of prickly pear tea was outstanding. Healthy snacks were provided too -yum! Don't expect a cup of English breakfast, 2 sugars and milk. This is a special place. Located under an amazing arch in an area where you want to take photos everywhere you look.

This morning I was reviewing travel photos, and smiled happily when I encountered the images devoted to this museum. Like the apothecaries it displays, the Herborarium is a compact delightful package containing rare treats. It is devoted to the history of our use of herbs: how we've categorized, catalogued, and compounded them. The displays are elegant and informative. and the staff are courteous (and proficient in English). I recommend it highly as a refreshing pause from the usual round of churches and cappuccinos; treat yourself to one of their splendid organic teas in a sweet and romantically-lit environment. (And be sure to pass along this info to your herbal and pharmaceutical friends. :~)

Small museum and shop, you can found and see a lot of particular things. It also organize meetings, seminars ... it is an angle of culture in the most beautiful street in Catania.
