the barqoue style facade is impressive. the interior of the cathedral is not as impressive as other italian cathedrals. some of the chappels are more interresting the the high altar

Well worth a visit to this large cathedral. There are also thermal baths below for which you have to pay a small fee and an opportunity to climb to the dome and have good views over the city. Beware, the baths and dome are closed...More
