The old town is just so quaint and Italian. Loved this place. The narrow streets, street vendors selling their beautiful pasta and little old men riding bikes. One of my favorite places in Italy.

You can happily get lost in the narrow alley ways and literally peep into the residential houses at a very old and traditional culture and lifestyle! The various bars, cafes and restaurants are intermittent with the residents living alongside, above and amongst them. Old men...More

Bari 's old town is full of history. Nice narrow streets. You have to walk and feel the vibe. Be careful with the scooter drives they drive fast and seem to appear out of no where

Beautiful old town to stroll around and lose yourself in. Cute narrow streets decorated with religious altars with grandmas kneading pasta in their doorstep. Perfect place to blend in and experience the real local culture

Walk in a straight line from Bari station, past the designer shops, and eventually you will reach the old part of Bari. With its narrow winding streets, and city wall, with the sea the other side, it is a polar opposite to the hustle and...More

It is so beautiful! All the streets are very narrow, crowded but clean! There are a lot of locals living in this area. They hang the clean cloths to be dried outside, therefore is a nice smell of clean (detergent like). You can easily enter...More

If you can look past the thousands and thousands of cigarette butts the locals just simply throw in the street (actually this is all of Bari, as it may be the cigarette smoking capital of Italy) as well as their garbage, this is a very...More

Cameras are fun. The streets are narrow and winding. But don't be rude and stick your nose into someone's open front door.

A must see in Bari and highlight of the city is the old town in stone on the old end near the fortress. Crafts of locals on outside of dwellings such as orechhiette pasta etc,
