We enjoyed a day trip from Venice to Verona so that we could visit the Bertani Vinyards & Winery - & it was a delightful experience. After touring & walking in the vineyards we drove to the Bertani Winery for a facilities tour & wine tasting. The winery is both classic & modern, with emphasis on its historic heritage. Wine sampling in a comfortable setting & getting to enjoy Bertani Valpolicella, Soave & even the Amarone! A deli platter of meat & cheese was thoughtful. Great wines in an idyllic setting with the knowledge, friendly and congenial Bertani staff. Perfect - you’ll enjoy!

We were on a return visit, but it was my first time being there. The gentlemen working there was super friendly, helpful and spoke great English! He gave us a free tasting, a free book on Italian wines and I bought 3 bottles of wine and 3 bottles of olive oil! Neat spot!

This tour was fantastic. For two of us it first seemed a but expensive...until we were given the bottles we opened to taste. Would recommend to anyone. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and a lot of history there.

I have had the pleasure to undertake the wine itinerary throughout the cellars of this prestigious and historical cellar in Valpolicella. The “Film Festival della Lessinia” gave me the opportunity to tour this charming place. The history of this, once family run, wine business was professionally and beautifully unravelled by the hospitality manager Michela. Tasting some of its mesmerizing flavours filled wines like Amarone and Ripasso made my day.
Cheers … BERTANI.

My husband and I did a private tour in the winter. What a treat. Excellent guide who spoke good English and even recommended a great enoteca for lunch. Wines tasted in the beautiful villa were excellent especially the amarone. We were able to purchase wine not available in the US.
