This is the only station we didn't see any Gypsies in. Not to say there weren't any, but we felt safe.

20 to 30 minutes before. There is no point in arriving early because there are very few seats and you are just standing around because they announce the boarding platform 15 to 20 minutes prior to boarding. They board trains... More

Yes, it is possible....more difficult if there are a lot of tourists around :))) but Venice is amazingly beautiful
