We dropped a friend off at Venice’s Train Station - Santa Lucia - and then wandered around it a bit. We were amazed at the size & the clear organization of the Santa Lucia station. Actually quite interesting to visit! Enjoy!

A busy train station, we went to have a look at rush hour so there were several trains arriving and departing. There are also several shops and places to eat.

We you arrive it is not as easy to know where to go. But there not much where to go anyway. They have a couple of shop.

Nice station, however I was very unimpressed that it is 1 euro to use the toilets. The machine didnt accept 2euro coins either Good location overall though

the vaporetto stop is just outside the main entrance to the trainstation. We bought our ticket upon arrival. Hope this helps.

Yes, it is possible....more difficult if there are a lot of tourists around :))) but Venice is amazingly beautiful
