Visited on recommendation. The waitress was awful. Unfriendly right away. Drinks average. Thankfully we found a bar nearby to eat and drink with wonderful staff and in great location. I would not want to spend any time in a place I'm clearly not welcome.

We enjoyed a quiet walk around the Castello district, far away from the crowds of central Venice. In need of refreshments, we sat at a table outside this bar and treated ourselves to a glass of prosecco. Lovely views and very relaxing.

If you want to get a slice of how Venetians live, you couldn't go past this bar. A regular stop for many locals on the way home from the nearby vaporetto station, it offers passable but inexpensive meals and good sandwiches. It's never going to...More
