Just happened upon this exhibit when we wandered onto campo San Barnaba... what an terrific find. Interact with “machines” based on leonard davinci’s designs in materials he likely used and see his brilliance. We particularly like the parachute designs, but there is so much to...More

This former church in Campo San Barnaba is home to the overpriced, permanent exhibition of a few replicas of Da Vinci’s machines. Entered the building but upon finding out the cost, bypassed this attraction. There is a gift shop just inside the door

Lots of info about Leonardo da Vinci, plus working models of many of his inventions. I was quite impressed! The old church it is in is classic, Don't get in a big hurry, just wander around and see all of it, plus the video!

I felt totally disappointed with this small exhibition of replicas of Leonardo's inventions. Only few of them can be operated. Doesn't worth 8 eur at all.

This is a church with a makeshift "museum" in it. It looks like a sloppy exhibit that someone put together in a few days. There are replicated machines of his work in the exhibit that you can touch and move, it seemed pretty tacky. We...More

DaVinci was a genius, and we loved that they built some of his inventions. Some of them were even interactive, and it was fun to test out his pulley systems, etc. At 8 Euro a person though, this isn't a great value.

Located in an old church you' ll find a few models of his machines and and inventions, interesting but 8€ is not a fair rate.

While wandering in Venice waiting for the carnival to start, came across this museum, from trip advisor recommendations. Was a great place to stop, was full of interesting things about Da Vinci; was some small pieces to interact with and a full length documentary to...More

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighbourhood with
street artists, students, painters, sculptors,
restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and
heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's
collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for
evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries
cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica
buttresses the neighbourhood to the east. Gondolas bob
