A must if you wish to pay your respects to a great artist and view some monumental artwork, he is also buried here.

We attend .ed a wedding at the church and had the opportunity for a private tour. It is worth finding as many have and exploring. The Tintorettos are worth the trip.

It's €3 to get in and worth every cent. The church is away from the main tourist spots so there were very few people inside. The frescoes are huge and extremely impressive.

Located well off the beaten tourist track in Cannaregio, this stunning late-Gothic church with its beautiful red brick façade ornamented with marble cornices, spires, and sculptures is a visual feast… And that’s just the outside! Inside, the light-filled nave with its soaring Gothic arches and...More

This was Tintoretto's parish church and he is buried here. A number of his works are here and they are best seen in the church they were painted for. Don't miss this gem.

Fascinating roof structure but a small charge to view and an interesting walk to get there by several devious routes from Rialto. Set in the greenest square of Venice with a peaceful, stress-free vibe

This lovely church in the Canneregio section of Venice appears rather plain on the outside but the interior has 11 Tintorettos including two that are in the 50 foot tall range. This was his local church. He lived just a block away and he found...More

Lovely Tintoretto paintings inside and well worth going out to see this. It is in a nice square and lovely facade as well. It is not open all the time and worth checking. However there is no charge to enter.

If you are an art lover, you could do worse than treck to this church in the northern, somewhat off the beaten path neighborhood of Cannaregio to see Tintoretto's Presentation of the Virgin, and host of other paintings by him, as well as other Venetian...More

Not only does this lovely church contain some of Tintoretto’s magnificent paintings, his family and the master itself are buried there. You can also see some paintings by one of his sons. I strongly recommend the walk from Ca d’Oro through the small canals.

Nope. The church is in a residential area of Venice and away from most of the tourist attractions and crowds. So unless you have the misfortune of arriving the same time as a tour group does, you'll have the church mostly... More
