We were so lucky that on our last visit, Venice was almost empty of tourists, so we got to see the real Venetians out enjoying themselves.

Unique city and unique canal. Its rocky and windy in the night and its fun to travel by the ACTV boats. Its probably a unique concept in the whole world.

Please, take a vaporetto from Piazalle Roma and go to Basilica din San Marco and then return. Do this tour at day time and night time as well. It is so beautiful. Words cannot describe it's beauty.

The basic cost is 7.50 one way and 10.00 round trip (Euros). 1/2/3/6 day passes cost 20/30/40/60 Euros. As for size, my best wild guess is that each one can hold about 30 people. But that's only a guess.
