Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

5 015 reviews
This sightseeing tour allows you to see three islands in the Venetian Lagoon in half a day. Visitors often visit Murano—well-known for its glass-blowing factory—but fewer make it to Burano and Torcello, with their lace-making shops and ornate palaces and churches. The tour also offers two departure times a day, making it easier to fit into your schedule.

Almost let the reviews put me and my partner off as we are a young British couple on our first city break. We were dressed relatively smart, jacket and wearing black jeans and had no issue. Payed 10 euros to get in and got a free drink and 10 euros to play on the slots or the tables! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, just gambling low stakes and just having fun. I’d recommend!

Great Table games for the small area that they have. I believe most people were playing roulette. There was big money flowing around the European roulette tables making it intimidating for a lower stakes player to play. The BJ tables seemed very welcoming to 10€ bets as long as there were 2 players, otherwise 2 hands at 10€ a hand. Honestly the BJ worked better solo that with others but all seemed fair. 4. Stars for the lack of attention to their slot machines/taking care of payout assistance.

The casino is worth a visit even it's just to say you've been. You'll need a passport / photo id for entry. It was my birthday on the Saturday evening when we visited, I got free entry and €20 of free chips. The staff are very professional and security on the tables is tight which is good to see when there are so many high stake players. Even if you don't gamble it's good to people watch! Drinks are comparable with restaurant price.

We accidentally stumbled on this casino while roaming the streets of Venice one night. It was very nice and security is extremely high, so much so that I felt like I was in a movie. It's not like a Vegas casino though so there are very few slot machines and in Euros its hard to know what you're spending.

Only go here to say you went. It is a small casino with not very many/good games, whether table or slots. Your odds of winning anything are small, due to poor returns on the machines and poor odds on the tables. The best part-- The old world feel of faded charm, which is what so much of Venice is about. Definitely go if you want that nostalgic feel. The worst-- Unfriendly, unhappy, unhelpful staff, from the coat check lady to the cashiers. It very much felt as if they didn't want us there-- "Just leave the money on the counter and leave, ciao..."
