The historical centre of Padua (Padova) is a nice cultural site to visit when being in this region of Italy. however, it can be very crowded when some cultural events are scheduled. Visiting during weekdays would be my advise.

Parking in Centro Storico of Padua is limited. When we go to Padua we park the car in a huge multilevel car park close to the station. (There are several options besides this car park) Centro Storico is a 10 minutes walk. The Scrovegni Chapel is also on walking distance of the station, but in a slightly different direction.
Enjoy your visit.
