Beautiful little Baptistery. Open from 10am
The walls and roof are amazingly beautiful. Although it is only small, it is well worth the time to see the frescoes. If you have a Padua pass, entry is free
This is almost a mini version of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel! It's a baptism chapel which is covered from top to bottom in frescoes that illustrate the life of Our Lord. Essentially, the gospels in pictures.
They are beautiful and well preserved.
Very interesting depictions of paradise, hell and all the other mumbo jumbo in vivid colours. Not to be missed. From my point of view better than the Scrovegni chapel
