This street memorializes Giuseppe Garbaldi when they named the oldest street in Turin after him in 1882. Garibaldi is considered to be one of Italy’s “founding fathers” and is held in high regard. This is a pedestrian-only street that runs from Piazza Castello to Piazza...More

A classic pedestrian way in the heart of Torino. Juventus store to caffes to great food. Check out the pizza place on Via Tommaso, best in the city. A Tiger store offers great deals.

Now, aside from the architectural and historical angle, Via Garibaldi...More

Closed to traffic, other than very sparse local, for many years, this street encompasses old fashioned shops and more modern chains. Very nice "salumerie" where one can but local products from country and mountain cheeses to pickled porcini mushrooms to multiple gyrations of pork, alternate...More
