The statue itself is not that special. As always, there is an interesting history behind the statue and the figure it presents - that is if you’re interested in history. Cavour was one of the leaders driving towards the unified Italy.

A monument for one of the most important historical persons of Risorgimento. The statue is quiet impressive and could be interesting for the Italian history and art lovers.

Cavour was a very influential politician in Italy. He was very conservative and often dictatorial, ignored his ministerial colleagues and parliament, and interfered in parliamentary elections. The statue is impressive, but nothing to write home about.
