When you are walking round Pavia you cannot miss this square, a truly stung Piazza where you can sit and take in your location with the many bars and restaurants.

Great place to visit with loads of restaurants and bars. Unfortunately when we were there the central square was being re-done so there were roadworks all over and it was difficult to get round. I expect that it is really lovely now.

Its the real center of the with many restaurants and cafe nd gilaterias. Nothing special to see except people. Near the dumma.

It is a number one meeting place for locals and at night its cafe patios are full. Surrounded by historical buildings and an equally beautiful gallery of arcades, along which there are numerous bars and restaurants.

When visiting Pavia it is well worth heading towards Piazza Vittoria, the heart of this beautiful town. Sadly on side of the Piazza has a rather ugly modern building, but just sit down in one of the many coffee shops with your back to it...More
