International visitors to Milan may not know who Manzoni was but this is a great place to visit. Manzoni was the Shakespeare of Italy and lived in the 19th century. The house is large and beautiful. It is very close to La Scala.

Lovely building but you need to go on a waking tour to find out about it( if you can't go in) so that you can fully appreciate the beauty of the building. It's looks amazing and the detail is breathtaking.
