Welcome to the Museum of the Cathedral, a symbol of Milan all over the world. The Museum's 26 exhibition rooms house the works of art originally from both the Duomo and from the historic storerooms of Veneranda Fabbrica, now organised chronologically to illustrate all the construction stages of the Cathedral, from its foundation in 1386 right through to the 20th century.

The place must to visit, very impressive. Nice atmosphere for spending a time at good weather, waking around, setting to drink a coffee.

I really enjoyed this Duomo Museum. The one way route is clear and helpful. To see so many parts of the Duomo up CLOSE, makes you appreciate the craftsmanship and materials of the Duomo. I think that this museum is a must.

Just to the side of the Duomo and included in the all-in ticket is this museum. It displays a selection of the figures and sculptures and carvings previously in position on or inside the Duomo.

The museum is included in the ticket to the Duomo. We found visiting the museum really helped us appreciate better our later visit to the Duomo. We were able to get into the museum with no wait.
