The promanade is best enjoyed in the evening when the temperature is cooler and the traffic is also quieter. Day time walks are often hot, noisy and busy - watch out for the dust and fumes from the lawnmowers and strimmers! The views are pleasant...More

Great promenade alongside the lake which is great for walking or jogging. Magnificent views of the lake and mountains. Many nice places to stop for a drink or snack along the way

Arrived early (9am) in the morning before the tourist hordes arrived. The walk along the promenade with the amazing views of the lake & the Swiss Alps was something we will remember for a long time.

Plenty of parking along the road, or in car parks at either end of promenade. Only a short walk 15-20 minutes maybe, but a nice one...
