It's in the same league as St. Geminiano. Only much much smaller and Sirmione has a castle with a river under the bridge, stunning castle well worth seeing. Especially if you are lucky as we where to be there on a full moon . Full...More

It was a place that we spent our time nice....There are many stores for men, women and children. The prices are high, so we disn't spent our money there. But it was nice for a walk and a coffee

We were here for just an afternoon. This seems to be a very enchanting place to visit with the beautiful lake and the fantastic ruins. Sirmione sits a the tip of a very narrow peninsula and one can stand in the middle of the land...More

First impression upon seeing the fortified entrance was 'Medieval Castle', once inside it's another shopping mall. Packed with tourists squeezing into the souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. Make your way straight through to find the 'road train' and use it to visit the Roman ruins....More

Lots to see here, we spent 3 hours and could have been here longer. Castle, only cost 3 euros, will worth doing.

Lovely place to visit whilst visiting lake Garda. Very busy even in low season, but that shouldn't put you off the visit. car parking nearby and a short stroll to the castle, which in itself worth a look. We spent a good while in Sirmione...More

A very nice place near Lago di Garda. Nice view, nice lake, good restaurants and bars, but highly too crowded. We were there in low season, but can imagine all the crowds when 'ferragosto' (italian holidays in August) starts. So, try to avoid that season.
