Wonderful looking castle which dominates the little village. Not a lot to do inside though could have benefitted from more information without having to buy a guidebook but for the cost of getting in worth a visit.

Worth the walk to the top for the beautiful views of the lak surrounding. It was busy so be prepared to wait on stairwells. Didn't see any actual tour guides but it's pretty self explanatory. Worth a visit!

Excellent old castle, really interesting to see all the places we had walked from the top of the tower. Easy steps to climb, well worth going to and combining the ticket with the Roman villa at the other end of the peninsula

We arrived in Sirmione by boat so had seen the castle as we sailed past. It was a reasonable price to enter and we enjoyed walking around the lower level before climbing to the first level. The views from here were nice enough but after...More

Went at about 5pm and there weren't much people around. Glad that we decided to visit the Grotte first before turning back for the castle. Go right ahead to the top of the tower for the fantastic panoramic views.

It’s a must visit place in Sirmione. One can go to the top of the tower and enjoy fantastic view over there. It makes sense to buy a combined ticket to the castle and to Grotte di Catullo.

But I don't know if the entry fee abit to high for only a walk on the outside wall? We wished to find a little more information about the history of it.

The whole old center of this medieval city was worth while visiting. It is a pity that cars are still allowed, as they could hardly pass.We were here during the triathlon, which was quit an event swimming next to the castle.

We took the train to Densenzano. It was on a Sunday so there may be a different schedule on weekdays. Then took a taxi to the Spa. There may be public transport but can't help you on that. Definitely worth a visit!
