Day trip to Sirmione from Venice. Had a great time here. €12 for castle + archaeological site tour. For extra €2, you can enter the docks of the castle. Didn’t go for it as I got a bird’s eye view of the docks from the...More

This is a great place to get views over Sirmione and over Lake Garda. It does require climbing a few stairs but it is well worth the effort

Impressive castle with walls and towers partially plunged into the water. From above you can enjoy spectacular views over the Lago di Garda and Sirmione! The castle is just in two steps from the boat pier and so is easily reachable from both Peschiera del...More

This castle is situated at the start of the Sirmioni peninsula. Climb to the top of the tower for spectacular views over the peninsula and Lake Garda

Like the name says, a rock, you get to climb to the walls and see outside the castle, and nothing else. You need probably 30 min tops to see it.

I think we were hoping for a more spectacular thing inside but the payoff was the view it allows you of sirmione and of lake Garda. The interior has nothing much going on but when you get to the top and look out, you get...More

We took the train to Densenzano. It was on a Sunday so there may be a different schedule on weekdays. Then took a taxi to the Spa. There may be public transport but can't help you on that. Definitely worth a visit!
