It's said Napolean stayed here. Certainly looks the part--wonderful old villa right on Lake Como. Beautiful grounds you can self-tour. But the building is being renovated and was closed.

Have a long walk from Como city centre around the lake. You will see a lot of nice villas, some are government offices now, others are still inhabited.

Hi Pick another villa to visit as this one is tired and being renovated. I recommend spending your money at Villa del Balbianello it is simply stunning.

Beautiful villa, visit was made extra special by a guided tour from a pleasant young gentleman who was a student and had only been there a few days, his knowledge of the villa and its history was astounding.

No, i giardini resteranno aperti esattamente come nell’ultimo anno, quindi con il solo camminamento a ridosso del lago. Per poterli visitare appieno devi attendere l'estate.

Esprit for the delay. I believe the grounds are open all year round. After reading other reviews it would seem the villa is in need of refurbishment but the grounds are beautiful
