I used the boat many times to travel to different places on the lake. It is prompt and not expensive. The views are incredible from the water and much better than driving.

Probably it is the best way to commute between cities and towns around Lake Como.Even though the waiting time in some cities can be too long (it might exceed an hour),I still prefer it to the bus.The daily and family passes are convenient. It takes about...More

Our trip started to wonderfully, a delightful paddle steamer ferry to Bellagio that was slow enough to enjoy the scenery, yet fast enough to make sure you didn’t get sick of it. Sadly it went drastically downhill from there. The return ferry was over 1.5...More

Forget driving your car and trying to park in all the quaint lakeside towns....take the ferry! Easy, pleasant and on time. Ticket agents speak English and are more than happy to help you with timetables, itineraries, etc.

Had the pleasure today of a visit to the beautiful Lake Como, what a shame the staff at the ferry service were so rude and ignorant (all need sacking- they wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for tourists). If you have to use them,...More

We used the water taxi for two weeks to get around the lake. They are fantastic. If you get i a hurry just buy a ticket or upgrade to the fast boats.

The ticket agents at the ports are extremely rude. Their timetables are extremely difficult to understand, and if you try to ask a question, they get VERY snippy and short with you. Make SURE you get to their ticket booth EARLY so you can ride...More

Always a great thing to do when on the lakes..... but the timetable is somewhat difficult to understand (I screwed up twice !!....) so study it, or ask the helpful folks at the ferry terminals. Bellagio/Menaggio are musts

Well what else is there to say? It floats, there are high speed and slow ferries, it didn't sink. Nice views along the route. If you want to visit the local towns, take the ferry!

Navigazione Lago Di Como cost €13.50 per ticket for the fast boat to Bellagio. You can find the boat docked at the beginning of the lake.

As far as I remember, the ordinary ferries have the possibility of a one month pass, whereas the fast (hydrofoil) has the possibility of one week. The price is depending on how far you're going. If you're not sure - maybe... More
