The painting on the walls and ceilings are quite wonderful. It was such a surprise to walk into this church and see such decoration. And the altar is quite remarkable. If you enjoy seeing the glory of ancient Catholic Churches, this one is worth exploring.
We saw it from our boat-ride the day before. Luca pointed out to be a quaint town with a pretty church. We drove down from where we were staying close by. Amazing interiors and even the surrounding neighbourhood. Very pretty.
