The church itself is nothing special but the surrounding mountains are gorgeous and the short walk behind the church was delightfully shady and tranquil (that is until a gaggle of chattering Italians show up)

Well worth a visit, not only for the edifice, but for the stunning views over the Bay of Tugullio obtained from a height of over 600 metres. The church is very ornate inside with plenty of gilt and a painted ceiling and an elaborate organ...More

If you are religious, you will enjoy this. If not, you will also enjoy the beautiful building and views from the top of the mountains. Have a meal in the restaurant, the food is really good there.

We watched the end of a mass in the lovely sactuary. It is truly on top of the mountain. We took the cable car to the top but decided to walk the 4k down. It was very intense and a bit treacherous due to recent...More

We loved this place. The views are amazing and the ride up is slow but nice. My husband and I spent about an hour there and then walked back to Rapallo (the walk is not easy) 🍻🍻
